I. WHAT IS WARRANTED

1. MOPAR

ACCESSORIES, AND AUDIO PRODUCTS AND ELECTRONIC ACCESSORIES SYSTEMS LIMITED WARRANTY

Mopar Accessories, Audio Products and Electronic Accessories installed on a Chrysler, Jeep

, Dodge or Ram vehicle by

an authorized Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram dealer are covered either by the 12-month/12,000-mile Mopar Basic Limited

Warranty, or by the remainder of the 3-year/36,000-mile Basic New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever is more favorable

to the customer unless otherwise noted.

2. MOPAR PARTS BASIC 12-MONTH/12,000-MILE WARRANTY

a. Except as listed above, Mopar parts sold over the counter or wholesaled are warranted against defects in

workmanship or materials for 12-months/unlimited mileage for parts (exchange) only unless otherwise noted.

Parts installed on a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram vehicle by an authorized Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram dealer

are warranted for 12-months/12,000-miles for both parts and labor, or for 12-months/unlimited mileage for parts

(exchange) only, whichever is more favorable to the customer.

b. 12-month/12,000-mile Mopar Basic Limited Warranty covers the cost of towing a vehicle to the nearest authorized

Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram dealer if the failure of a covered part causes the vehicle to be inoperative.

c. If a Mopar part is installed in a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram vehicle by an authorized Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or

Ram dealer, and if, while that part is still under warranty, it causes other parts to be damaged or to fail, those other

parts will be repaired or replaced under warranty, regardless of whether the other parts were covered by a Chrysler

Group LLC warranty at the time of failure. A Mopar part used to replace a failed Mopar part that is still under

warranty is covered ONLY for the remainder of the replacement part’s existing warranty.

d. Mopar Gaskets and Seals are sold “AS IS” without warranty of any kind.

e. Mopar Performance Parts (shown by a Mopar part number beginning with the letter “P”) are sold “AS IS” without

warranty of any kind by Mopar.

3. MASTER SHIELD® RUST PROTECTION LIMITED WARRANTY (NEW VEHICLES ONLY)

The Master Shield Rust Protection treatment is warranted for the registered lifetime of the new vehicle provided that the:

o Vehicle does not exceed 11,000-lb gross vehicle weight

o Master Shield treatment was properly applied within three months of the new vehicle’s original in-service date

Chrysler Group LLC warrants that if any part of a new vehicle properly treated with Master Shield Rust Protection rusts

through (is perforated from inside out), Chrysler Group LLC will repair and/or replace the damaged part(s) at no charge,

up to a cumulative limit of $2,000 in combined parts and labor costs per vehicle.

NOTE: This warranty does NOT apply to surface or cosmetic rust; rust caused by external damage from dents,

scratches, chipped paint or surface rust resulting from other internal cavity perforation; wear and tear from normal

driving; vehicles not continuously registered for road use; vehicle manufacturer’s defects; the vehicle’s exhaust

system; vehicle’s ﬂoor pans load area of commercial vehicles; pickup truck bed areas; defects covered by a dealer’s

or manufacturer’s New Vehicle Limited Warranties; or vehicles not inspected as required by Master Shield Rust

Protection Procedures and Warranty book. Only the selling dealer may validate a Master Shield warranty.

4. MASTER SHIELD PAINT SEALANT LIMITED WARRANTY (NEW VEHICLES ONLY)

The Master Shield Paint Sealant treatment is warranted to the ﬁrst registered owner only, for a period of three years from

the date of its application to the vehicle, provided that:

o The Master Shield sealant was properly applied within 60 days of the vehicle’s original in-service date

o Damage to the exterior ﬁnish is reported immediately to a participating Master Shield dealer, who follows the

proper claims-processing procedure
